Yet again the excellent work performed Preston Pride has been recognised at the Preston Sports Awards as the club has been shortlisted for the award 'Sports Club of the Year'. This award is sponsored by Flower Bowl Entertainment Centre.
The club has met all of the criteria for their work over this season, which includes;
- Increased its membership to over 120 players
- Created and ran successful CVL's for both the Under 16's age group and a Senior men's summer league (PSBL)
- Put 4 coaches through their Level 2 Basketball England Qualification
- Organised and ran a Level 2 Table Official Award through Basketball England for 7 of our members
- Ran a successful Autumn Camp (with a second Easter Camp accepting places hint hint)
The Awards are taking place at Deepdale Stadium on Friday 20th March, where Preston Pride's committee and some of their coaches will be representing the club. Keep a look out on their social media accounts for photos and updates on whether or not they are successful.
