Level 2 Table Officials Course - 4th April 2020

Preston Pride have organised another opportunity to get your table officiating qualification this coming April.

The session will be hosted at the University of Central Lancashire and will be run by BE qualified tutor Divya Gorasia. The course lasts for 4 hours which comprises of an interactive learning session followed by the required knowledge and practical application tests. It is an energetic session that will facilitate getting qualified to be able to table both local and national league fixtures. Basketball England describes the course as:

"A four-hour course for those who have completed Level 1, providing deeper knowledge of the roles of the timekeeper and score.

If you already have suitable experience you may be able to officiate senior National League games once you are a Level 2 Table Official."

Once the course is completed, to finalise the qualification, each candidate must complete 2 games completing the scoresheets and 2 games as timer. Preston Pride will be supporting those attending the course with the opportunity to table the Preston Summer Basketball League fixtures which will start shortly after the course.
