Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is holding an exciting event to promote careers and opportunities within the NHS.

The NHS Careers Event will take place next week on Tuesday 7th May and aims to promote both clinical and non-clinical careers within the NHS and showcase the opportunities available in the various teams and departments across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. The event will include a range information about apprenticeships, careers within the NHS, university pathways and more through a variety of information stands suitable for all.

Brittany Mollart, Widening Participation Tutor at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, said: "We are very excited to open our doors to the public and promote careers within healthcare. We have a huge variety of pathways and options available whether you are interested in nursing, allied health professions, midwifery etc."

"The evening will be a great opportunity for visitors to speak with our various teams and find out more about what options are available to them and what the next steps would be to achieve their goals. It will also be great for people to get more of an idea about our culture at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals too. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this event."

The NHS Careers Event will take place on Tuesday 7th May from 3pm-6pm within Health Academy 1 at Royal Preston Hospital.
