A PRESTON businesswoman has been nominated for a highly prestigious business award.
Sunny Sandwell, Director of Fun at Sunshine Events, has made the shortlist for Director of the Year in the small/medium business category at this year’s 2019 Director of the Year Awards ceremony.
The awards are hosted by The Institute of Directors (IoD) North West and Isle of Man branches.
The event will celebrate the achievements of the region’s leaders from across all sectors. For the first time, it will merge the efforts of North West and Isle of Man entrants, championing leaders on both sides of the water.
Sunny, pictured, said: “It’s a real honour to be nominated as Director of the Year in the Small/Medium business category.
“While it’s my name on the shortlist, I think it’s a testament to the hard work that each and every Fun Expert of Sunshine Events does.”
Founded 15 years ago by Sunny and James Sandwell, Sunshine Events hires out fun equipment and now employs more than 50 people.
The awards ceremony will take place next month at Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
